If you download this program and run it, it will work (famous last words).
There is no installation required. I decided on using the KISS principle in publishing all of this stuff. Enough people on the manual camera lists appear to be uninterested in the electronics etc. of cameras so I felt it was essential to keep it simple.
The file is a self-extracting zip file. Run it and allow it to open in the folder of your choice. It will extract two files. Both files must be in the same folder or it will not work.
The file to run to carry out shutter testing is called shutter_tester.exe
