The SRT101 has almost become an icon for Minolta manual SLR’s. These cameras are workhorses that simply keep on going.
This one appeared to have in a farm shed given the stuff that was on it.
I cleaned it off. Cleared anything from the mechanism and it worked. I use it for macro-photography.
I have a second one that had a screw showing in the viewfinder. I pulled the top down and opened up the prism. What I didn’t know was re-assembly included Minolta’s bits of string linking shutter etc. It still hasn’t been properly assembled.
